Origami Kimono Dolls Workshop 5/10/2022
Join IAMA and Resident Artist Dana Fong for another fun and creative Youth Workshop!
Happy Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month! To celebrate, we will be making one of a kind, Japanese Origami Kimono Dolls. In this workshop, we will be using origami paper to create eye-catching art and transform it into a card, bookmark or framed piece to hang on the wall. Students will be using their creative and hand motor skills. Be sure to follow us for more exciting workshops!
Dana has been an instructor for the past 10 years, teaching various workshops specializing in succulent terrariums, watercolor, card making, fimo clay, and more. She is also a graphic designer, face painter and artist located in the Bay Area. She has been an artist in residence for IAMA since 2021.
