Summer Rocks! Desert Rock Painting Activity with Young Art Studio (Zoom and Facebook Live), 7/13/2023 @ 4 PM
Let’s get crafty this summer! Join IAMA and Young Art Studio for July’s youth art workshop.
Learn how to paint a beautiful scene of a desert sunset on a new medium … a rock! Turn an everyday object into a masterpiece. Learn simple painting techniques and how to use this new medium step-by-step with the help of a live instructor. The lesson will begin with basic shape recognition of the desert scenery as we break the landscape down into simple shapes. The class will then move on to painting on the rock directly and learning basic painting and coloring blending techniques.

Teacher Biography:
Young Art Teacher Jace is a professional freelance artist with a focus on Graphic Design and Animation and is well-versed in the stages of design from concept to final product. His expertise comes from his lifelong love of art and the education he gained at The Art Institute of Las Vegas in Design. His career in teaching started during his Senior Year of High School where he volunteered his time as the on-site Art Teacher, which sparked a love for helping others learn to spark their creativity and imagination to create art in all its many forms.
