The International Art Museum of America is honored to share that the museum has received the 2025 Mid Market Golden Brick Award, presented by the Mid Market Community Benefit District in recognition of IAMA’s ongoing contributions to the Mid-Market neighborhood and the broader San Francisco community.

Although the award recognizes IAMA’s impact in 2025, the Golden Brick was officially presented to the museum this year, along with a special Certificate of Honor from the Office of the Mayor of San Francisco, bearing the signature of Mayor Daniel Lurie.

The Golden Brick Award recognizes individuals and organizations that help strengthen, support, and uplift the Mid-Market District through meaningful contributions to the neighborhood. For IAMA, this recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects not only the museum’s work within its galleries, but also its role as part of the larger community surrounding it.

Located on Market Street, IAMA has long been dedicated to making art accessible to visitors of all ages and backgrounds. Through exhibitions, youth art initiatives, community events, and partnerships with local organizations, the museum continues to play an active role in bringing creativity, culture, and connection to the Mid-Market area.
